Like the moon that reflects the radiant light of the sun, our clothes compliment a woman's best assets, fit her silhouette, active lifestyle, and distinctive style.  New inventory of dresses, tops, sweaters, bottoms, purses, shoes and jewelry arrive almost everyday, are offered in limited quantities, and are season specific, to insure exclusive looks for our customers.  In addition to our inspiring collection of fashion, we also provides the option of personalized styling to every in-boutique customer.

In 2007, in her 19th year working in the hospitality industry, Kathy serendipitously found herself covering for a friend in a Honokaa consignment shop.  After a few days of delighting in the creative process of finding the best look for a woman and the reward of making customers feel great, she knew it was possible.  Shortly after, Kathy quit her job and bought that consignment shop that was the original Hula Moon Boutique.   

The consignment items were gradually replaced with new women’s clothing and accessories and Hula Moon made the move from Honokaa to the bustling Parker Square, in Kamuela.  The ethos that started it all remained: dress women beautifully.  Kathy and her team pride themselves on providing everyone who walks into Hula Moon an opportunity to accentuate their beauty and feel comfortable in their own skin.  When not in Kamuela, Kathy travels to the West Coast, on buying trips, seeking out the best in well-designed and quality-made garments.
